The Kroc Center is committed to building a strong community and that starts with educating the adults of tomorrow. The Kroc Center’s youth programs combine developmental learning, mentorship, team building and more, in a fun atmosphere where kids will feel comfortable learning, being active and making new friends.

KROC CENTER SUMMER DAY CAMP SIGN UP IS BACK!

The Kroc Center Summer Camp will ignite your child’s imagination and help them discover their passions. Here at the Kroc Center, kids engage in educational, exploratory, and fun activities including opportunities with other Kroc Center programs and classes through breakout camps and while having fun in the sun!

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 20, 2025 for Members and JANUARY 27, 2027 for Non-Members

At The Salvation Army Summer Camp your kids spend their days learning, playing, swimming, creating, exploring, and making new friends! And parents spend their days knowing their kids are safe and cared for by our trained staff in our state-licensed camp.

Plus, they”ll have a new experience each week! Choose from many theme camps based on topics like sports, art, games, STEM, culture and history. We make combating summer learning loss FUN!

Campers get to splash around with water, explore and problem solve, play games, and run around the huge Kroc backyard. Sign up for our specialty camps for unique learning opportunities! Sign up now!

A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP

Sample Schedule:

  • 7:00-8:00am: Early Care (additional charges apply)
  • 8:00-8:30am: General drop-off/check-in & playground play
  • 8:30-9:00am: Morning Rally
  • 9:00-10:00am: Snack and team huddles 
  • 10:00-11:00am: Specialty Camps (additional charges apply)
  • 10:00am-12:00pm: Themed Camp
  • 12:00-1:00pm: Lunch and playground play
  • 1:00-3:00pm: Swim or HAPPY Camper
  • 3:00-4:00pm: Snack and playground play
  • 4:00-5:00pm: Free choice (inside)
  • 5:00-5:30pm: General end of day camp pick-up/check-out
  • 5:30-6:00pm: Extended care end of day pick-up/check-out (additional charges apply)

What To Bring:

  • Season appropriate clothing
  • Closed toed shoes
  • Backpack 
  • Water bottle
  • Swimsuit and towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Positive attitude
  • A smile or high-five to share!

Leave At Home:

  • Money
  • Electronics: cell phones, iPads, game systems, video cameras
  • Personal toys: trading cards, action figures/dolls, fidgets & stuffed animals
  • Expensive jewelry or other belongings
  • Gum, candy and/or pop
  • Pets
