It’s our mission to ensure that you have the opportunity to access programs, classes and resources to help you transform your life. At the Kroc you’ll Group Fitness Classes for all ages and skill levels, Fitness Assessments to keep you on track and Personal Trainers to help you find your fit.
To ensure everyone in our community has access to these transformational services all of our group fitness classes are free to members and day pass customers. Plus, members receive discounts on personal training and free Kroc Starts and Wellness Consultations.
At the Kroc we want members to be empowered to transform their lives and discover new passions. We’re proud to offer a wide range of classes which will challenge you no matter your fitness level. Train and tighten all regions of the lower body and core with this toning class. Workout will focus on the abs, glutes, legs, and lower back using light weights, bands, and body resistance
This class focuses on strength and power using a barbell with adjustable weights. Strong emphasis on proper form and technique, and building functional strength. You’ll move through squats, lunges, chest and overhead presses, as well as tricep dips and bicep, hammer and side arm curls. The intensity of Barbell Strength depends on how much weight you add to the bar. Start easy — you can always increase the weight later! All levels.
Limited on time and need that extra push? Our boot camps are designed to keep you on your toes! Each class is designed to be different and push you out of your comfort zone! We will challenge you every class! We want you to have fun but be prepared for some high intensity training! Intermediate to Advanced.
Whether you’re a serious cyclist or just love the calorie burn of Spinning, this is the class for you! This high energy ride will take you to a new level of fitness using cadence and resistance drills. This ride will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout, all to energizing music! Upper body Strength & Core components are added off the bike incorporating weights. This class is aimed at improving muscular endurance and bone strength. Intermediate to advanced.
In this class, we will prepare the body for real-life movements and activities by mastering the basic movement patterns such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting. The ultimate goal, move freely in everyday life without pain and worry of injury. A variety of equipment will be used such as bands, weights, yoga mats, and self-myofascial release tools for a full-body workout.
Has a full week of workouts left your muscles feeling sore and tight? Join us for Move Well to optimize your mobility, reduce muscle soreness, and increase workout efficacy. An instructor will coach you through various self-myofascial release (SMR) techniques using a foam roller, trigger point ball, and bodyweight movements to help you move and feel better.
Cardio, weights, fun and done! Total body workout that puts the FUN in FUNctional. This class has a unique combination of resistance, intervals, power, plyometrics, and endurance all in 45 minutes. Strong emphasis on music-based conditioning with mixed martial arts movements to increase core stability, balance, and increase cardio endurance. All levels.
Suspension Training® is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise that builds a strong core, strength, flexibility, and endurance. This workout harnesses the way your body naturally moves to improve your athletic performance. This class is amp’d up to also include low impact cardio and barre work. All levels.
Try a new spin on traditional yoga with this hybrid class. The poses are basic and incorporate light weights and/or bands and cardio bursts with an emphasis on core stability. Class will help improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility. Suitable for all levels.
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
Here at the Kroc we make full use of our pools with a variety of fitness and sports classes. Our Aqua Fitness classes are drop-in, and included in membership, or available to the public through the purchase of a Day Pass. Our Aqua Sports classes can be registered for in advance online. AquaBase Boards: Inspired by Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP), AquaBase Boards combine yoga-inspired and high intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises – including planks, burpees and mountain climbers – performed atop a specially-designed board. We are the first in Wisconsin with AquaBase Boards and excited for everyone to get a chance at them!
Guard against impact stress on your lower body joints by avoiding contact with the bottom of the pool using buoyancy belts and deep-water exercise. This class offers a way to work out with little to no impact. Float weights and other resistance aids are used along with choreography of water exercises to create an aerobic workout that largely benefits the core of the body. All levels.
This non-impact class focuses on using water resistance and aids to open joints and strengthen surrounding muscles and tissues. The water allows for the increase in range of motion, gentle stretching, balance and postural awareness. This Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Exercise based class is ideal for people of all ages who suffer from arthritis, muscular and joint discomfort, or recovering from a hip, knee, or shoulder injury. Beginner level.
Low-impact movements and water resistance exercise taught by certified instructors in Silver Sneakers programming. Great for older adults that desire the benefits of water exercise and a healthy social environment. Exercises will include a wide range of movements that are designed to improve blood flow, strength, speed, balance, postural awareness, agility, coordination, endurance and flexibility.
A high energy class designed for the excited water exercise person. Class design includes water exercise moves choreographed with high energy, family friendly music. This class will get your blood pumping! During active recovery periods in each class, participants will use various water resistance aids to improve strength and endurance. The emphasis of this class is to have fun while increasing endurance and strength! All levels.
