Join us at the Kroc Center Garage and South property for a free, family-friendly event featuring educational and networking opportunities with community partners. Enjoy fun outdoor family activities throughout the event and light refreshments will be provided.

Run for a Cause… and a donut!
Launching the Uncle Mike’s Donut 5K benefitting the Kroc Center Scholarship Fund.

This June, to extend the celebration of National Donut Day, The Salvation Army Kroc Center is teaming up with the donut (and Kringle) experts at Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe to present our 2nd Annual Donut 5K on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 8am! The run/walk starts and finishes in Allouez’s beautiful Green Isle Park, and weaves through the streets of Allouez. Enjoy live entertainment, donuts and refreshments in the park, and a complimentary donut from Uncle Mike’s after the race!

If the 5K isn’t your thing, but a short sprint, costumes, and a donut reward are- then join us for the Sprinkle Sprint in the Soccer Field! Costumes are encouraged as you sprint across the open lawn at Green Isle Park, and claim your tasty reward after. This Sprinkle Sprint (begins at 8:30am), and will finish before the start of the 5K (9:00am), so you can still cheer on friends and family participating in the longer run/walk.

The proceeds for this event will directly support Kroc Scholarship Fund, our Scholarship program offers free to reduced memberships and programming to individuals and families that are low-income in our community. Membership at the Kroc Center means life-enriching classes for disadvantaged children, healthy programming for fixed-income adults, and a wholesome and safe place for families to spend time together.
